Christmas Time

Christmas is a happy season. It starts on the 1st of December and goes up to the 6th of January. For some people Christmas is a religious time. It celebrates the birth of Christ. But even those who don’t believe, it‘s a time of giving. Children wait for Santa Claus and for presents under the Christmas Tree and in the stockings.
The family get together is on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The family members reunite around a big feast. The traditional food, such as cod fish, roast turkey, “bolo rei”, “aletria”, “rabanadas”, pumpkin fries, and so on, are great.
Although it’s winter time, hearts are warm and people open their hearts to charity. People have a lot of fun and spread love around them.
